About Me

My name is Tim Sloos, and I was first introduced to kendama in 2013. Since then, I have been amazed by the growth in skill level and the number of brands involved, it's incredible to see so many people finding joy in this skill toy. Flux kendama is a collective I created to help support the growth of the Canadian kendama scene. 

Originally picking up kendama for the fun of it, this wooden skill toy has had a larger impact on me than I ever thought possible, leading me to new friends and new experiences I might not have had otherwise. Because of this, I wanted to make a contribution to the kendama community on a local and global level, to show my appreciation and to help others foster the same love for this incredible skill toy. I hope you enjoy these kendamas as much as I do.
